The original purpose when I stopped painting was to help out the local artists, not many of whom had websites in 2000. I've been using this area for testing for quite a while. To keep with tradition and promote our Salida, Colorado area artists, we'll maintain a "Do-it-yourself" area artist gallery with links to the artist's websites. Artists may: *Suggest their Web Linkswebmaster@salidaart.com (no membership needed) *Use the shared gallery *Submit an article such as the one above All at no charge. This allows you to enjoy the use of SalidaArt.com's search engine ranking and name. Please feel free to add your latest photos frequently. The more you add, the more you show up on the front page! As always, *Domain hosting is available if needed. Contact me webmaster@salidaart.com to discuss your options. To add your Area Gallery, *Join the website (fast and free). *Add your artwork to the shared gallery Then *Submit an article about you and your artwork after you've added it to the shared gallery. You may also *Embed your Youtube video in your article or add your Facebook buttons or videos. The slideshow above is a sample using admin's photos. Your art slideshow, interview or video of your Salida area work or music would fill this space. Alternately you may send the info and an image to webmaster@salidaart.com If you need more, Premium options such as private albums and personal help are available. You may include yourself in this gallery if: It's Your locally (you may include a wide area- Buena Vista, Villa Grove, etc...) produced artwork. You may also include your personally created work if it's for sale in one of our local galleries or stores. Musicians are invited to add their youtube or facebook videos as well. **A note to the artists: No offense intended if you were formerly included and are no longer here. I've been out of touch for a while, and I didn't feel that I had permission to use your old info and work when I redesigned. I won't be reposting your links myself.
